Note The sharp reduction in Portuguese nationals living in Mozambique between 1997 and 2007 is related to the possibility that many Portuguese people have dual nationality, where only Mozambican nationality is accounted for. The data from 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015 and 2020 were revised by the UN and amended by OEm on 05/02/2025.
