OEm Portuguese Emigration
In the Portuguese Emigration [Emigração Portuguesa] an annual compilation of the main indicators on Portuguese emigration is made. This compilation, which is publically available, is presented in commented and detailed terms in the form of charts and graphs for more than 20 countries. It is intended for all who need this information, in particular researchers, decision-makers and journalists.

It is organized into four chapters. The first provides context indicators and estimated aggregate data on the total of Portuguese emigration, as well as comparative data on Portuguese and world emigration. The second provides comparative information for the last two available years on four indicators of Portuguese emigration to the main countries of destination: flows, stocks, nationality and consular registers. The third provides a chronological series since 2000, or first year available, on three of the indicators of Portuguese emigration to the main countries of destination: flows, stocks and nationality. The fourth one contains the main information on the remittances received in Portugal and sent from Portugal. It can also include a fifth chapter with variable content from year to year. Finally, it provides basic information on the consulted indicators and sources: methodological notes, metadata and glossary.
