Born in Portugal
Note There are residents of Belarus who are counted as "born abroad" and / or "foreign nationality" because they were born in other republics of the former USSR before being divided in 1991. Therefore, reading the corresponding figures should be made considering this geopolitical change To the detriment of immigration, since before 1991 the former USSR included 15 independent republics: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. The data for 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015 were reviewed by the UN and amended by OEm on 24/11/2022.
