Emigration to Denmark stabilized in 2017
There were 642 Portuguese who entered Denmark in 2017, according to Denmark Statistik data. That Danish agency accounted for a total of 86,137 entries of foreigners in the country, with the Portuguese representing 0.7% of this total. +

In 2017, Portuguese emigration to Denmark stabilized at a slight decline (-2%), after a sharp decline in the previous year (-30%). The interruption of the growth of Portuguese emigration to Denmark has accompanied the overall decline in inflows into this country after a period of sharp growth between 2013 and 2015. This was also the period of absolute and relative growth of Portuguese emigration to Denmark, which had already been accentuated since 2011, with a peak of 938 Portuguese entries in that country in 2015.
