Therefore, reading the corresponding figures should be made considering this geopolitical change To the detriment of immigration, since before 1991 the former USSR included 15 independent republics: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
