In this lecture given by Professor Andrew Geddes, the repertoires of migration governance in the EU are presented, based on three discussion points: causes and effects of international migration through the lens of policy makers, representation of what policy makers see as the "normality" that is taken into account when devising responses to migration "crises", and how governance systems per se are key drivers of migration.
