Emigration to Andorra stagnant and at low values
Inês Vidigal
According to data from the Andorra Department of Statistics, 386 Portuguese entered Andorra in 2018. This agency accounted for a total of 3,804 foreigners entering the country, with the Portuguese accounting for 10.1% of immigration in that year. +

After a peak in 2005, Portuguese emigration to Andorra fell abruptly between that year and 2014, and has since remained stable at comparatively low levels. In 2008, Portuguese emigration to Andorra fell the most (-54%), reflecting the abrupt and profound nature of the real estate crisis in Spain. Over the last three years, the number of Portuguese arrivals in Andorra has increased very slightly, but has remained below 400 per year, far from the figures of the beginning of the century, seven times higher than at present.
