The International Congress "Migration, Citizenship, Human Rights" will be held at the Faculty of Law, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, on November 27th and 28th, beginning at 9:00 am. On the first day, questions will be debated on the theme "Migration is a Human Right issue", while on the second day will be addressed issues related to the theme "Being Portuguese, becoming Portuguese: nationality and citizenship at the beginning of the XXI's century ".

The Faculty of Law of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa invites students, professors, researchers, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and civil society to debate critically Migration, Citizenship and Human Rights in the European Union, specifically in Portugal, on November 27th and 28th.
The first day will have as a center of debate the entry and stay of third country nationals in the EU / Portugal. On the second day, the reflections will focus on the process of integration and identity of foreigners in Portugal, based on the question of nationality.
