Educational attainment of Portuguese emigrants in Luxembourg, 2001–2021

This statistical report examines the educational attainment of the Portuguese population residing in Luxembourg, based on census data. It analyses the evolution of educational levels among Portuguese emigrants over the last two decades (2001-2021) and compares their educational profile with that of other foreign-born populations and the native Luxembourgish population. The report highlights both long-term trends and persistent disparities, contributing to a broader understanding of the structural position of Portuguese emigration within the Luxembourgish migratory landscape.
