Luxembourg in 2023, Portuguese emigration to the country experienced a slight decrease in 2024 (-4.6%). This decline mirrors the overall decrease in total emigration to Luxembourg, which also fell by 4.6%. Between 2000 and 2024, the number of Portuguese inflows into Luxembourg was minimal in 2000 (2.193 entries) and maximum in 2012 (5.193 entries). The loss of relative importance of Portuguese immigration in Luxembourg continues to increase: between 2003 and 2024, the number of Portuguese inflows into Luxembourg went from over 29% of the total number of foreign migrants to 14%.
